Open 4 Business

Open 4 Business

We are happy to announce that a business networking event, called Open 4 Business, will take place as part of the DORS/CLUC conference.

DORS/CLUC is a community event, and we are not changing this. But, this community has been able to maintain DORS/CLUC going on for almost 30 years because we also do business. And we do business because of the value that free software and open source bring to the table.

So, there are a couple goals that Open 4 Business aims to achieve:

  • emphasize that free software and Linux people are also business people
  • provide a platform for making sustainable and open business happen
  • promote business collaboration between open source companies
  • promote business collaboration with open source projects
  • promote networking and collaboration between SMEs, freelancers and corporations to revitalize the people-hungry IT projects, by utilizing the value that open technologies provide.

Since this is a kick-off event, participation in the Open 4 Business this year is free, and we invite anyone that runs a business to join us and meet amazing people, especially those representing sponsors and partners of the conference!

Open 4 Business will be an awesome warmup for DORS/CLUC. So, commit to participating by registering, and we will publish the name of your company on the Open 4 Business page.

Take the next step, get tickets for DORS/CLUC and experience the amazing tech community event in it’s full glory.
