Damir Ivanković

Damir Ivanković is the head of the Computing Centre at the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Split. His main interests are database-driven web application development, data visualisation and web GIS, which is also the main topic of his PhD thesis in computer science: “Spatio-temporal data management achieved by connecting graphical representation with maps”. He also manages Linux servers (full-stack development). He is an open source enthusiast with a mission to extend its use to many different fields.
