Davor Virag possesses an innate curiosity for computers and electronics, with his knowledge largely cultivated within the open-source ecosystem. Opting to explore the intricacies of biological systems, he pursued a degree in MD at the School of Medicine in Zagreb.

Encountering a group of enthusiastic researchers at the Department of Pharmacology, Davor embarked on a role as a research assistant. It was within this environment that his penchant for tinkering found a unique outlet, contributing to the development of open-source tools for measuring animal behavior in Alzheimer’s disease research.
