Ievgen Pyrogov

Ievgen is a software engineer from Ukraine. During his university years, his interests spanned a wide range, starting from assembly programming language, all they way up to graphical web design. He got fascinated by the Ruby programming language, and it helped him get a first job. After several years of romantic programming in Ruby, Ievgen was introduced to Elixir by a friend. To date, he considers Elixir is the best fit for web development. Fast-forward to 2016, while working on eHealth, a Ukrainian state-backed medical data platform, Ievgen was exposed to working with Kubernetes. Since then, he started his romance with the various topics from the DevOps universe. Today Ievgen works at Contractbook, which he joined as an early employee back in 2018. At Contractbook, Ievgen is having fun keeping the infrastructure secure, robust and fast. Ievgen is a huge fan of vim, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and Elixir.
