Tomaz Zaman
Born and raised in central Slovenia, Tomaz Zaman was immersed in the operations of his parents’ aluminum foundry during his formative years, an experience that initially presented challenges as he navigated the responsibilities of assisting with its upkeep (which he did not like because by his words he had to help out a lot).
Following his academic pursuits in wood technology at the Biotechnical Faculty, Tomaz’s passion for web development ignited. This fervor led him to co-found Codeable with his partner in Denmark, establishing it as a prominent WordPress outsourcing marketplace. Through his involvement in the WordPress community, he gained a profound appreciation for the unifying power of open source.
Upon departing from Codeable, Tomaz resolved to merge his expertise in development with his knowledge of materials. Thus, the concept of an open router was born—a project aimed at seamlessly integrating his dual areas of expertise.
