TomTom has been one of the world’s leading mapmakers for a long time, and now it’s leading the industry into a future of collaboration. TomTom is trying to be a model corporate partner by engaging with various local mapping communities and by encouraging budding editors to join the OSM project.
An integral part of TomTom’s engagement program for OSM is being sponsor of OSM’s conferences all over the globe (as here in Croatia), organize meetups at TomTom offices to meet communities, launch MapRoulette/Tasking Manager, mapping party and training session to increase the quality and the freshness of OSM map.
